Insurance & Security Internship Jobs in Italy

We are seeking a Risk & Insurance Intern to join our Risk & Insurance department at Sony Europe. This department handles all tasks related to risk and insurance across our operations and companies within Europe.

In our diverse and constantly changing business environment, effective risk management is crucial to how we operate. Sony prioritizes protecting its products (such as through supply chain management, liability, and brand protection), its business (including business interruption, property, cyber risks, and professional contracts), and most importantly, its people (covering personal accidents, injuries, and business travel).

As an intern, you’ll engage in the challenging field of Supply Chain Risk, Security, and Insurance management. Your role will involve identifying and reducing risks, implementing preventive measures, managing insurance and claims processes, and handling data to support effective management decisions and reporting.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Data Management: Analyze and reorganize the department’s archive structure to make data easier to reference and analyze, supporting quicker and more effective decision-making.

Process Definition: Evaluate, review, and restructure written processes and procedures to ensure clarity and ease of understanding, which will be beneficial for staff transitions and training.

Audit Report Review: Review reports on loss prevention, risk engineering, and security projects to ensure consistency and comprehension.

RMIS Utilization Process: Learn to use Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) tools, assess their user-friendliness, understand the system logic, and create written process guidelines.

Qualifications:

– You should have an academic background in Risk & Insurance, with ongoing university studies.

– Excellent fluency in English.

– Strong skills in Microsoft Office.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Analytical thinking.

– A proactive and initiative-taking attitude.

What We Offer:

– A 6-month internship, with the possibility of extending for another 6 months.
