QUALIFICATION   

Minimum bachelor degree from an HEC recognized university or
equivalent degree from a  reputable
foreign university.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing all functions operations such as account opening
    documentation, cash receipt/payments, clearing/remittances, keys and vaults,
    lockers, branch security, and general maintenance, ATMS etc., including reporting,
    regulatory/audit/compliance, financial control and accounting,  HR and systems and data processing.
  • Authorizing all accounts closures, account amendments, removal
    and placement of various constraints on accounts, signature deletions  and fixed deposit placements (including premature
    encashment  and roll-over and requests)
    as per t prescribed policy of bank.
  • Reviewing the effectiveness of system and manual controls to
    ensure the smooth operations of the branch, and identifying operational risks
    and inadequate controls.
  • Ensuring the correct and in-time implementation of
    instruction circulars effectively.
  • Ensuring to verify effectively computer output journal
    reports against the source documents to identify errors in posting transactions
    timely.
  • Ensuring the fool proof and secure maintenance and restricted
    access of all customers’ account/signature documentation.
  • Supervising all end of day processes as per prescribed
    policy and procedures and other branch related administration tasks/work.
  • Ensuring absolutely the maintenance of all the documents, records,
    and instruments pertaining to the branch operations.
  • Keeping and maintaining installed inventory of equipment in
    the branch, and coordinating with the designated functions for ordering of fixed
    assets, office supplies, security stationery, , etc.
  • Handling all branch queries in an efficient, effective and
    timely manner.
  • Ensuring in time submission of all returns required to be
    filed by the branch as per prescribed policy of bank and regulators.
  • Taking necessary measures to ensure that all operations
    staff is aware of the internal and external regulatory framework completely.
  • Monitoring of customer service standards against standards
    set by the center and taking corrective action if need be.
  • Ensuring the provision of service delivery by reviewing it
    within the agreed turnaround time.
  • Maintenance of salary/perks, leave, transfer and posting record.
  • Coordinating with human resource for the provision of
    training to staff to overcome deficiencies found in routine work.
  • Ensuring to Prepare annual leave plan with consultation of
    respective managers and making sure to adhere strictly to the rotation policy
    of the bank.
  • Ensuring regularly the punctuality and adherence to branch
    dress code on daily basis.
  • Ensuring the availability of proper staff back-up for
    critical positions.
  • Ensuring immediate reporting and follow up of fraud/forgery,
    dacoity, litigation and disciplinary matters.
  • Ensuring the Coordination with the project management office
    of the bank with an intention of achieving bank-wide business process
    improvement and end-to-end implementation (including CBA enhancement)
    effectively.
  • Ensuring to Facilitate internal, external and State Bank of
    Pakistan auditors in carrying out their responsibilities in connection with the
    branch’s activities.
  • Performing any other responsibility as assigned time to time
     by the regional operations manager and
    any other competent authority .

 

 

Remarks

  • In case of degree earned from a foreign university, an equivalency
    certificate obtained from HEC must be submitted by the candidates at the time
    of interview to validate that they possess the required education.
