The Bank of Khyber seeks applications from highly passionate,

vacant positions.

 

JOB TITLE   

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – PROJECT MANAGEMENT UNIT

TOTAL BANKING EXPERIENCE

Five (05) years of it related project management experience
in a reputable organization.Candidates having experience in retail will be
given preference.

LOCATION  

KARACHI/ PESHAWAR/ LAHORE/ ISLAMABAD

QUALIFICATION   

Minimum bachelor degree from an HEC recognized university or
from any reputable foreign university.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides leadership with best practices and is highly customer
    oriented/ focused.
  • Ensure that the operational issues of the PMO are properly managed,
    focusing on the project interface with project leaders, project teams, interface
    issue and technology.
  • Responsible for overseeing the proper planning and
    implementation of an entire project through budgeting, sourcing suppliers and
    planning the project release timely.
  • Set deadlines, providing feedback, and communicating with
    cross functions about the status of their project.
  • Develop project plans that ensure identification of resource
    and budgetary needs.
  • Meeting business expectations in terms of functional
    abilities and timelines.
  • Coordination & maintaining equilibrium/balance in its
    cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate all requirements for new projects/action.
  • Drafting project related activities with the collaboration
    of respective stakeholders.
  • Maintain and publish project plan on timely manner.
  • Responsible for management and execution of all activities
    within the PMO to ensure timely, professional ,efficient and execution of all
    project tasks effectively.
  • Resource management and
    allocation in projects/CRS.                                   
  • Facilitates the execution of major action plans/ projects
    until the operational phase as per the approved project/action plan, with
    associated milestones and key activities required, streamlining independencies
    and monitoring progress keenly.
  • Vendor management and communication for close tracking and
    on time delivery, for outsourced projects.
  • Establish efficient reporting and escalation mechanisms
    using proper tools and processes and that proper corrective measures/ actions
    are implemented effectively in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate all requirements for new projects/action plans,
    come up with an agreed critical schedule path with the provider, and closely
    monitor the budget consumption with project control.
  • Ensured reporting tasks are timely executed, and that
    reports are complete and cover all project needs, including progress status and
    financial status, versus project timelines, contractual obligations and other
    commitments.
  • Works with stakeholders to estimate resources required for
    each respective development project.
  • Perform risk management activities by ensuring that critical
    project tasks and blocking issues are thoroughly analyzed.

Remarks

  • In case of degree earned from a foreign university, an equivalency
    certificate obtained from HEC must be submitted by the candidates at the time
    of interview to validate that they possess the required education.
  • Market based competitive salary
