QUALIFICATION
Minimum bachelor degree from an HEC recognized university or
equivalent degree from a reputable
foreign university.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure to manage all trade related transactions including
export and guarantees by ensuring consistent delivery of high quality services
to customers and meeting objectives set by the group using available resources
allocated. - Responsible for ensuring day to day processing &
supervision of export documents with the primary purpose of meeting agreed
service standards and maximizing productivity of the team. - Must ensure total compliance of laid down procedures in
trade finance manual and SBP and local regulators. - Provide appropriate delivery and support service to the relevant department/clients.
- Must Comply with bank’s trade based money laundering and AML
policies, regulations and procedures. - Must Promote the culture and practice of compliance within
the letter and the true spirit of regulatory requirements and ethical standards
in the conduct of business. - Must ensure to achieve the processing turnaround standards
as stipulated in the service level agreement between the hub and spoke and
meeting the productivity standards in terms of processing, efficiency and
accuracy of output. - Responsible for promptly reporting of regulatory reports (if any)
pertaining to the product(s). - To manage all trade related transactions including import

meeting objectives/ goals set by the group using available resources allocated. - Responsible for ensuring day to day processing &
supervision of /import documents with the primary purpose of meeting agreed
service standards and maximizing productivity of the team. - Must ensure total compliance of laid down procedures in
trade finance manual and State Bank of Pakistan and local regulatory bodies. - Must Provide appropriate and effective delivery and support
to the related department/clients. - Must ensure to comply with bank’s trade based money
laundering and AML policies and procedures properly. - Ensure to promote the culture and practice of prompt compliance within the letter and spirit of
regulatory requirements and ethical standards in the conduct of business. - Must ensure to achieve the processing turnaround standards
as stipulated in the service level agreement between the hub and spoke and
meeting productivity standards in terms of processing, efficiency and accuracy
of output. - Responsible for prompt reporting of regulatory reports (if
any) pertaining to the product(s) in timely manners. - Process requests for LG issuance/ amendments/ claim
settlement in the system. Ensure that at the time of processing necessary
approvals have been obtained by the branch from the competent authority, and
bank’s policies & procedures and regulatory requirements have been duly
complied with; - Ensure the availability of the guarantee’s draft dully vetted
by the legal division of the bank at the time of processing of the LG issuance,
amendment etc; - Monitor and send reminders to customers, beneficiary and the
respective branch regarding lg expiry and redemption of the original lg issued
by the bank; - Issuance of verification/ confirmation letters to the
beneficiaries of the guarantees issued by the bank; - Process the subsequent request for cancellation, margin
release or renewal of LG received from the branches in the system; - Receive requests for the issuance of foreign guarantees from
correspondent banks and to accordingly coordinate with fid and respective
branch to process the request in system; - Issuance of counter guarantees in favor of foreign
correspondent banks where the said bank issues a guarantee in favor of bank’s
customer on the request of the bank, in a foreign country; - Perform any other incidental and related activities to
ensure the timely and affective processing of LG related transactions; - Ensure that the guarantee function is equipped with
appropriate human resources in terms of numbers and technical expertise/
knowledge and from time to time submit his suggestion/ proposal to head trade
finance operations. Ensure proper job rotation and succession planning for
staff in guarantees function to ensure the availability suitably qualified/
experienced staff at all critical positions; - Enhance and maintain productivity of staff members at
highest possible level through motivation and mentoring; - Conduct performance evaluation of staff members with direct
reporting lines. - Review and recommend improvements in the internal control
procedures for the banking operations and coordinating with the relevant
personnel for the generation of various reports as required by the branches; - Perform any other responsibility as assigned by the head-
trade finance operations and any other competent authority from time to time.
Remarks
- In case of degree earned from a foreign university, an equivalency
certificate obtained from HEC must be submitted by the candidates at the time
of interview to validate that they possess the required education. - Market based competitive salary
commensurate will be offered to selected candidate with experience and
