Position Overview:

The Grader General Labor position at Rose Acre Farms involves inspecting and removing defective eggs (such as checks, blood spots, dirt, and leakers) as they pass through the candling booth. The role also includes packaging eggs correctly and ensuring the grader area remains clean and organized. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Egg Inspection: Inspect eggs as they move through the candling booth, removing any checks, blood spots, dirt, leakers, or foreign objects.
Packaging and Labeling: Correctly package eggs into cartons and properly label the boxes, ensuring they are ready for shipment.
Quality Control: Continuously monitor the quality of the eggs, checking for defects like blood spots, dirt, or leakers. Report any issues immediately to the egg grader operator and the Quality Control Inspector.
Task Rotation: Rotate between candling and packing duties according to instructions from the Grader Manager, ensuring tasks are completed safely and promptly.
Workplace Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area by picking up any eggs from the floor and disposing of trash properly.
Problem Reporting: Notify the supervisor or Grader Manager of any urgent issues that need immediate attention.
Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, including Rose Acre Farms’ Biosecurity Program, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and animal welfare policies.

Physical Requirements:
