Job Title: Bus Driver Trainee – No Experience Needed
Location: Hadleigh, Essex
Salary: £14.50 per hour (rising to £17.00 per hour after 1 year)
Annual Salary: £28,652
Working Hours: 38 hours per week, 5 days per week (Monday to Sunday), on a shift/rota basis

Our Bus Driver Training Program:

Our comprehensive 13-month training program will provide you with all the skills you need to succeed as a bus driver, including:

• Customer Service Skills: Improve your communication and problem-solving abilities to provide excellent service.
• Incident Management: Learn how to handle various situations that may arise on the job.
• Safeguarding: Understand the importance of passenger safety and well-being.
• Apprenticeship: Achieve a Level 2 Bus Driving Apprenticeship with First Bus.
• Maths & English Qualifications: If required, you’ll have the chance to gain nationally-recognized qualifications in Maths and English.

Training includes both online modules and in-person workshops delivered by industry experts.

What We Need From You:

• Right to Work: Proof that you have the right to work in the UK.
• Age: You must be at least 18 years old.
• Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Residence: You must have lived in the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA) for at least 3 years.
• Flexibility: Be willing to work on a rota basis, with shifts that could include early mornings (starting from 03:30), late nights (finishing by 02:00), and weekends.
• People Skills: A friendly and approachable attitude with the ability to engage well with passengers.
