Job Description

Tasks:
– Drive as part of a two-person team or in a convoy.
– Obtain special permits and necessary documents for transporting cargo on international routes.
– Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
– Perform inspections before, during, and after trips to oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
– Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information.
– Record details such as cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
– Ensure the cargo is safely secured, including tarping if necessary.
– Transport and handle hazardous materials safely.
